Music-e Pars – Amir Farzaneh: On the evening of Thursday, June 26, 2014, Mazyar Fallahi gave two shows at the Shayda-ye Kordestan cultural and arts complex, organized by the Avaye Baran Cultural and Arts Institute of Sanandaj in cooperation with the Darkoob advertising agency and produced by Yashar Najmoddini.

The concert opened with «It’s a Lie» (Dorooghe), followed by “Real Dream” (Royaye Vagheyi), “Yalda”, “For Your Intoxicating Gaze” (Ghorboon-e Mast-e Negahat), “Damn Me” (Lanat Be Man), “Romantic” (Asheghooneh), “Keepsake Photo” (Aks-e Yadegari), “One Day Clear, One Day Cloudy” (Ye Rooz Safi, Ye Rooz Abri), “Scarecrow” (Matarsak), “Leyli”, “Impossible Assumption” (Farz-e Mahal), “Last Breath” (Akharin Nafas), “Frozen Heart” (Ghalb-e Yakhi) and “Leyli’s Majnun” (Majnoon-e Leyli).

Davood Jafari’s accordion solo and his words about Kurdish music, the city of Sanandaj and its artists were very warmly received by the audience.

Navid Eskandar, Ayman Khorasani Rad, Babak Imani, Milad Nodast, Ashoor Zafarmoradian, Milad Jowzi, Davood Jafari and Siamak Panahi were the musicians who accompanied Mazyar Fallahi on this show.

Behind the scenes:

* The indescribable passion and energy of the people of Sanandaj, and their exemplary culture and character,  were praised again and again by Mazyar Fallahi during the show.

* Despite the poor conditions of the venue, the efforts of «Alireza Yahyavi, the concert’s sound engineer, to create proper conditions for the show paid off, and Mazyar Fallahi thanked him several times during the performance.

* During the concert, Mazyar Fallahi asked the audience to applaud «Alireza Haghighi», Iran’s first-choice goalkeeper at the World Cup, a request that was met with an enthusiastic response.
