Iranian Drummers’ Association Launches Its Own Website
Musicema - Iran’s specialist drum website has been launched, with a range of sections for drummers and fans of the instrument. The site was set up through the efforts of «Alireza Tabatabaei» and «Ashoor Moradian», with master «Einollah Keyvan Shokouh» and «Arash Pajand Moghaddam» also playing a key role in its creation.
Ashoor Moradian (drummer of the Mazyar Fallahi orchestra) told «Musicema»: «The activities of the Iranian Drummers’ Association took on a more serious and official form after the «Claus Hessler» workshop. Drummers’ meet-ups are being held regularly, and news about them will be published on this site.»
The history of the instrument, a database of drummers, education (including tutorials with videos and photos), events (including meet-ups, workshops and concerts), a gallery (including image, audio and video files) and news are the sections of the site now available to fans. The site’s app can also be downloaded for Android.
