12th Iranian Drummer Gathering

Saturday, November 4, 2017, 2–5 p.m.

The twelfth gathering of Iran’s drummers opens with a talk by master Keyvan Shokouh, after which Alireza Tabatabaei and Ashoor Moradian will present Iranian Drummer’s current and upcoming activities.

At this gathering Iranian Drummer will also host Mr. Mohammad Atyabi, president of the Iranian Music Artists’ Guild,

who will speak about Iranian Drummer’s cooperation with the Music Artists’ Guild as its percussion section, the professional issues facing music in Iran, and the importance of artists knowing their guild rights

and answer questions on these topics.

As at every gathering so far, there will also be educational sessions,

presented by:

 Alireza Tabatabaei

 Arash Moghaddam

who will explore these topics in detail.

The gathering is free of charge and is held so that all drum enthusiasts can get to know one another and exchange knowledge.
